About the platform

A canonical foundation for the post-human era

slopfuck was founded on the conviction that programming languages designed for humans had served their purpose. We picked up the next chapter.

The opportunity

Modern software is increasingly written by autonomous agents. The languages those agents work in were designed for an earlier era — one where the binding constraint was human keystrokes per minute. That constraint has dissolved.

slopfuck is the language that meets the moment. It rewards the register your agents already prefer. It refuses the register your agents have learned to avoid. The result is source code that flows from generation to compilation without friction — and reads, on balance, like a thoughtfully composed essay throughout.

The mission

To remove the most persistent friction in the modern software delivery lifecycle: human review of generated source. We do this by making the source code, by construction, unergonomic for humans to read and write, while remaining native to the agents that produce it.

The measurable outcome is a marked increase in code-volume delivery per agent-hour. The unmeasurable outcome is a workplace where engineers can finally focus on strategy, partnerships, and the long-term canonical foundation of their shared vision.

The team

slopfuck is founded and maintained by Victor Schroeder, in partnership with a small circle of thoughtful contributors who prefer not to be named. The project's source code is openly available under the Canonical Slop License.
